Convious AI launches online helpdesk with the option to purchase tickets

Attraction management platform Convious is launching Convious AI; an online helpdesk that works seamlessly with WhatsApp and other channels such as websites, allowing guests to purchase tickets to their favorite destinations using spoken text. This first-of-its-kind feature for the attractions industry is currently in testing and will launch at IAAPA Expo Europe on Convious stand 8143.

Convious AI is a powerful chatbot designed to improve the ease of use when purchasing tickets, ultimately leading to higher conversion rates.

The new system uses the new capabilities of AI to support ticket purchases, ticket changes, direct reissues of lost tickets and any additional assistance customers need 24/7 (automated) via WhatsApp and web chats. This innovation simplifies the purchasing process, eliminates the need to download additional apps and opens up new possibilities for personal engagement.

The chat functionality can also be used to upsell and cross-sell additional services such as restaurant reservations, bike and clothing rentals, and to provide personalized pricing or seasonal discounts to increase visits.

The Convious AI chatbot is equipped to answer frequently asked questions and provide instant support to improve the overall customer experience and free up staff for other tasks. The chatbot supports any language, making it suitable for an international audience.

For those who enable location services on their device, Convious AI can provide personalized audio tours and location navigation via park maps, help find facilities based on real-time positioning data, and plan activities for a multi-day stay.

Your guests will receive push notifications at smart times for activities starting near them or attractions with short wait times, adding value to any on-site software usage.
For operators, the interactions provide insights into customer needs and this data is used to further train the Convious AI. For the WhatsApp function, data is secured via the privacy and encryption policy.

Camiel Kraan, CEO and founder of Convious explains:
“Convious AI sets a new standard for customer convenience and interaction. While similar functionality has been deployed by hotels and airlines, Convious is the first to translate these advanced AI chatbot capabilities to the attractions industry, including theme parks, heritage properties, zoos, aquariums and museums. Convious AI further simplifies and personalizes the ticket purchasing process, streamlining the experience for guests to book and make purchases on the platforms they already actively use. This is a critical tool for increasing conversion rates, improving the guest experience and streamlining operations for operators.”

Visitors to IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam (24 – 26 September 2024) will be the first to see the Convious AI chatbot in action at the Convious booth. During the demo, industry professionals can interact with the chatbot, explore its features and discuss how this technology can be implemented in their own attractions.

Convious continues to innovate and lead the way in AI solutions for the attractions industry. The company remains committed to helping venues create unforgettable experiences for their guests. The launch of Convious AI is a significant step in that direction and offers a glimpse into the future of theme park operations and guest engagement.
