On Wednesday, July 2, Easyfairs organized a meeting for the exhibitors of the Recreatie Vakbeurs Hardenberg (November 17–19, 2026). The latest developments regarding the exhibition concept were shared here. The change of hall for play equipment and accommodations, in particular, will take some getting used to for many exhibitors. The campaigns in Germany are being stepped up further, making German-language brochures a necessity.

Jeffry Plaggenmarsch, Commercial Manager of Recreatie Vakbeurs, began his presentation with an overview of impressive figures from recent years. There is clearly growing interest in this trade fair concept. Both the number of exhibitors and the number of visitors show strong growth. Most halls are already (almost) fully booked.

Work is also in full swing on a very extensive knowledge program aimed at various target groups. Some components of the program:
- The trade day for German entrepreneurs 'Deutschland Live' is returning.
- A knowledge event for day recreation, 'Dagrecreatie Live', is once again part of the fair. Here, among other things, the nominations (10 per province and 10 nationwide) will be announced for 'The Best Day Out'.
- Pleisureworld is organizing an XL knowledge table on November 17 with the theme: Rise of mini-resorts as successful (re)development
- NRIT is also organizing a series of lectures again.
- This year, there is more focus on specific roles within the recreation industry. For example, sessions are being organized aimed at the Technical Department, entrepreneurs, and the marketing department.
Jeffry Plaggenmarsch advised exhibitors to start preparing well in advance: “You can already get visitors excited before the fair with information about the new products you will be showcasing in Hardenberg. Smart software also makes lead follow-up easier. Visitors can easily leave their information via their badge.”

For the 2026 edition, Make-A-Wish Netherlands has been chosen as the official charity partner. The organization is dedicated to fulfilling the wishes of seriously ill children and offering them and their families a valuable ray of hope during a difficult time.
