New at VIEWW 2025: interactive knowledge sessions about glamping

During VIEWW 2025 at the Mölke glamping site near Rijssen, this coming Wednesday, September 17th, and Thursday, September 18th, the glamping experience will receive special attention through interactive knowledge sessions. In a roundtable setting, Richard Otten (Glampingexpert.nl) will discuss with industry professionals how a glamping holiday is experienced today and in the future.

The goal of the sessions is to promote glamping in a positive light and, above all, to focus on the complete experience guests expect. Instead of lengthy presentations, visitors will be presented with a 30- to 40-minute conversation, followed by questions and interaction. This fosters a lively exchange of ideas between experts and the audience.

On Wednesday, September 17th, the changing guest experience will take center stage. How do today's guests—and those of tomorrow—envision their ideal glamping experience? Topics such as luxury and privacy, the differences between families and couples, the role of sustainability and storytelling, and the increasing expectations surrounding digital amenities and service will be addressed.

The next day, on Thursday, September 18th, we'll focus on the building blocks of an optimal glamping holiday. What's essential and what's nice-to-have? How important are features like bathroom facilities, sleeping comfort, and outdoor space? And what role do catering, entertainment, and wellness facilities play in creating a distinctive and profitable glamping concept? The balance between cost and experience will also be discussed in detail.

Names for the knowledge sessions have now been confirmed. Sybe Rintjema (Durff) will participate as a developer and consultant in the recreation sector, and Kim-Elle from Ernst will share her expertise in hospitality and experience. Also interviewed will be Rutger van de Maat (Mölke), Alessandro van de Loo (Vacanze col Cuore), Georgy Bedier (de Parel), and Saskia van der Zee-Lippers (Landal).

The sessions are open to all VIEWW visitors and are part of the free admission program. You can still register via vieww.nl.
