Recreatie Vakbeurs reaches a new milestone. The edition of November 17, 18, and 19, 2026, at Evenementenhal Hardenberg is fully booked and welcomes a record number of more than 375 exhibitors. With this, Recreatie Vakbeurs continues its growth and confirms its position as an important meeting point for the recreation industry.
The increasing market interest is reflected in the growth of the exhibitor roster. Since 2021, the number of exhibitors has risen from 250 to more than 375 companies in 2026. At the same time, Recreatie Vakbeurs welcomes over 100 new exhibitors participating for the first time. In doing so, the fair continues to attract new parties, and the platform grows further in breadth and diversity.
“The fact that we are fully booked for the trade fair and can welcome a record number of exhibitors is a special milestone,” says Jeffry Plaggenmarsch, on behalf of Recreatie Vakbeurs. “The recreation industry continues to evolve, and entrepreneurs are seeking new solutions, inspiration, and collaborations. With a growing range of exhibitors and a strong content-rich program, we want to continue supporting visitors with the challenges and opportunities of the future.”
Renewed exhibition experience and knowledge program
In addition to the growth of the exhibitor lineup, Recreatie Vakbeurs continues to invest in an inspiring and valuable visitor experience. For instance, Hall 1 is getting a new Partner Square, where trade association HISWA-RECRON, knowledge partners, and media come together to provide visitors with inspiration, advice, and current insights from the sector.
The Recreatie College knowledge program is also getting a renewed look, with a strong focus on current themes and developments within the recreation industry. The program includes, among others, the masterclass 'Hospitality Starts Backstage' by Kim-Elle van Ernst, an AI workshop by Effecty, and Deutschland Live.
During Deutschland Live, the changing Dutch and German guest takes center stage, with attention to changing preferences, booking behavior, and spending, among other things. In addition, the Indoor Innovation Playground will have a permanent spot on the exhibition floor, where visitors can discover the latest innovations and solutions in the field of indoor recreation.
