BillyBird Drakenrijk in North Limburg is in the final stages of its new indoor playground. It is expected to open in mid-March 2026. The indoor playground will initially be exclusively open to members. Anyone who wants to be the first to check it out will need to secure a membership. This aligns with Billy Bird's strategy. Members also receive plenty of benefits at the Hemelrijk location in Volkel.

Since the beginning of August, visitors have been able to choose between a Continuous Drakenrijk Membership (valid until March 1, 2026) and a Super Long BillyBird Membership (valid until March 1, 2027). With the BillyBird membership, season ticket holders have access to Drakenrijk, including the indoor playground and events. They also have free admission to BillyBird Hemelrijk in Volkel (Brabant) and receive discounts at more than 100 partners such as Toverland, XBaze and FEC Sevenum. Memberships start from € 26,50 per person. In short, great value for money.

Construction is on schedule
“Construction is progressing steadily. After the construction holiday, the concrete floor will be poured, and the large family slide will be installed in the weeks that follow. We know from experience that the final phase of such a project is important for finishing all the details properly. We look forward to welcoming our members to the new indoor playground and are very curious to hear the first reactions.”
Paul Derks, head of park development at BillyBird.
Starting in the 2026 season, Drakenrijk will be open daily, allowing visitors and members to enjoy the park year-round. The arrival of the new indoor playground will also create more (covered) space for children's parties and school trips.
