Adventure Park Hellendoorn celebrates its 90th anniversary in 2026 with the opening of a spectacular new attraction: OerKracht!. It is a 'Wild Swing' attraction produced by the German company ART engineering. The new attraction will be the eye-catcher of a new themed area, 'Oerland'.
Adventure Park Hellendoorn began in 1936 as the Ons Ideaal teahouse and grew into a full-fledged amusement park in the decades that followed. With expansions like the Maze, the Fairytale Garden, the Canadian River, and iconic attractions like Tornado (now Balagos) and Black Hole (now Sewer Rat), the park continued to evolve. After several changes of ownership, it came under the control of the French Looping Group in 2011, followed by many new attractions: Tarantula Magica, Dragon's Nest, Pirate Enterhaak, and even a Slidepark with 11 spectacular waterslides. In 2024, the Ridderstrijd spinning coaster was added. The park continues to innovate with a focus on theming and the experience. And now, in 2026, we will open our 29th attraction: OerKracht – the power of fun, straight from prehistoric times!
The brand-new attraction from German manufacturer ART Engineering is a gigantic swing that can accommodate 16 visitors per ride. In seconds, they'll be swaying to a height of 12 meters! OerKracht doesn't invert and is suitable for children taller than 90 cm, making it a perfect family attraction.
OerKracht (Primal Power) rises in the new Oerland theme area, complete with adventures like Dino Sky Pedalo, Tarantula Magica, and the Aquaventura Slidepark. Be transported through the Stone Age jungle on a Dino bike or step into Tarantula Magica and feel yourself spinning, soaring, and flipping upside down! A real adrenaline rush for the real daredevils.
And if that's not enough, we're also opening a new themed food and beverage station, accessible from both sides: the Slide Park and the other. This way, you can enjoy a tasty snack or refreshing drink during peak hours, even when the Slide Park is closed.
