Plopsa looks back with satisfaction on a very successful autumn holiday, in which the number of visitors to the Belgian parks has increased considerably compared to previous years. Plopsaland De Panne and Plopsa Coo Ardennes in particular proved to be popular destinations for families.

Record season for the Plopsaland Resort
Plopsaland De Panne saw a strong increase of 66% in visitor numbers compared to last year, with the park achieving a record season during the autumn break. The Plopsaland Theater Hotel was fully booked during the Flemish autumn break, clearly underlining the success of the resort as a multi-day destination.
This year, the Night Watch experience house 'Het Huis van Pandora' was opened for the first time, a family-friendly Halloween experience for the whole family. In addition, visitors could enjoy the new Piet Piraat Halloween show, which was met with great enthusiasm: almost 25.000 visitors attended this free show, which shows that the focus on more experience and shows is a success. Other Studio 100 characters, such as Bumba and Maya the Bee, also appeared in Halloween costume, which made for spooky encounters for young and old.
“ The success of the Studio 100 Festival Halloween demonstrates that our strategy to focus more on experience and shows is paying off. The fact that our hotel was also fully booked shows that the Plopsaland Resort has become a popular destination for a multi-day stay. We look forward to continuing this trend into the winter season, with the opening of Plopsaland Village and another varied program for the whole family, ” says Xavier Verellen, Marketing & Sales Director of Plopsa.
Successful autumn holiday for Plopsa Coo Ardennes
Plopsa Coo Ardennes attracted many adventurous visitors to the Ardennes. The park saw a strong increase in visitor numbers, with almost a threefold increase compared to last year. The varied range of Halloween activities, together with the beautiful weather in the Ardennes, contributed to these positive figures. Visitors were able to enjoy magical encounters with Studio 100 characters, and the iconic Pumpkin King was also present. The Magico Show, a magic show for the whole family, was also well received.
Plopsa Indoor Hasselt and Plopsa Station Antwerp
The number of visitors to the indoor parks Plopsa Indoor Hasselt and Plopsa Station Antwerp remained stable compared to last year. Although the nice weather attracted many people outside, both parks attracted a similar number of visitors as in previous years.
Carl Lenaerts, CEO of the Plopsa Group, responds enthusiastically: “ We are particularly proud of the rising visitor numbers during the autumn holidays. This growth confirms that our focus on family-friendly experiences and high-quality shows is appreciated by our visitors. In the future, we will continue to invest in these unique experiences for the whole family .”
Looking ahead to the winter season
The strong results during the autumn break are a great start to the festive season, when Plopsa will once again offer a complete range of magical winter activities for the whole family.
