Family Resort Molenwaard, together with construction company P. van Leeuwen from Meerkerk, officially started the construction of an indoor swimming pool on January 20, 2025. Under the leadership of Marjanne van Hoorne, Fien and Teun drove the first pile for this new facility.
From mid-October 11, 2025, park visitors can enjoy this long-awaited swimming location, called 'Het Boothuis'. Since the opening in 2021, a swimming pool has been one of the most requested amenities by guests. Now this wish is finally coming true. The new swimming pool offers fun for all ages and has three different pools. The toddler pool has a depth of 15 cm, the children's pool is 30 cm deep and the large pool gradually slopes down to one meter deep. This design ensures that every family member has a safe and suitable place to enjoy water fun.
Since its opening in 2021, Familie Resort Molenwaard has continued to invest in improving the guest experience. The park previously expanded with the indoor playground Speelschuur Molenwaard, more luxurious accommodations and a magical park parade with the Molenwaard Stars. The arrival of the swimming pool is the next step in the further development of the park and contributes to the mission of the holiday park: creating unforgettable family vacations.
The swimming pool will be exclusively accessible to guests staying at the holiday park.
Earlier this week, the holiday park also announced a new themed experience centered on Stip the Pony , which is open to day guests.
