Camperbeurs launches a third edition in the Netherlands. The first edition of Camperbeurs Amsterdam will take place on November 27 and 28, 2027, at EXPO Greater Amsterdam. With Amsterdam as the third edition, alongside the existing fairs in Den Bosch and Hardenberg, the organization continues to build a national platform that reaches over 50.000 visitors annually.
Amsterdam: a logical third location
With Amsterdam, Camperbeurs is deliberately choosing a region that does not yet have its own camper fair. North Holland ranks in the Top 3 of Dutch provinces with the most camper owners. Moreover, the number of campers in the province has increased by no less than 84% over the past eight years. 'The Randstad is a very interesting region for us,' says Stefan Hutten, CEO of trade fair organizer Easyfairs Netherlands. 'The number of camper owners has also grown strongly here in recent years. We are also seeing new target groups emerging that view camper travel in a different way. With Camperbeurs, we want to bring different groups together and show just how broad the world of camper travel has become.'
Always a Camper Show nearby
With three editions spread across the Netherlands and the year, Camperbeurs creates a national platform for the camper industry, with a wider reach and multiple touchpoints with camper enthusiasts. In 2027, there will be Camperbeurs in Den Bosch, Hardenberg, and Amsterdam:
- Camper Fair Den Bosch – February 19 to 21, 2027, Brabanthallen
- Camper Fair Hardenberg – September 17 to 19, 2027, Evenementenhal Hardenberg
- Camper Fair Amsterdam – 27 & 28 November 2027, EXPO Greater Amsterdam
"With the addition of Amsterdam, we are strengthening our national position and can reach camper enthusiasts at multiple times throughout the year," says Jeffry Plaggenmarsch on behalf of Camperbeurs. "We are building on over 18 years of experience in Hardenberg and the successful expansion to Den Bosch. With three editions and over 50.000 visitors per year, a strong and broad platform is being created for the Dutch camper industry."
"We want Camperbeurs to become much more than a fair that takes place in one location once a year," Plaggenmarsch continues. "Whether you live in the North, East, South, or West of the Netherlands: there will soon always be a Camperbeurs within reach. And because the fairs are spread throughout the year, we remain relevant to campers at different times."
Industry shows immediate confidence
Interest from the camper industry has been immediate and significant. By now, more than 50 companies have expressed their intention to participate in Camperbeurs Amsterdam. "The fact that we already have more than 50 interested companies, even though we have only just announced the fair, gives us tremendous energy. It shows that the industry also sees the potential of Amsterdam," says Plaggenmarsch.
EXPO Greater Amsterdam: easily accessible, spacious and comfortable
Camperbeurs Amsterdam takes place at EXPO Greater Amsterdam in Vijfhuizen. The location is situated close to the A4 and A9, is easily accessible, and offers ample parking. EXPO Greater Amsterdam is located on the former Floriade site, is surrounded by greenery, and has a bright, industrial appearance with characteristic glass greenhouse architecture and plenty of natural light.
