Plopsaland Belgium, located in De Panne, can look back on a successful 25th anniversary year. With 1.405.606 visitors (excluding the water park), this is another record for the park. The number of overnight guests at the resort increased by 19 percent.

The anniversary was celebrated with a grand parade, a new family attraction in Wickieland, and an impressive birthday show during the summer: the Plopsa Dream, which welcomed more than 90.000 visitors.
Holiday park Plopsaland Village
Last year, the Plopsaland Resort recorded its highest number of overnight stays ever. With a 19% increase, the resort welcomed 98.000 guests. The opening of Plopsaland Village, the holiday park with 55 luxury villas for families and groups of 6-12 people, played a significant role in this. Along with the Plopsaland Theater Hotel, Plopsaqua, and the Studio 100 Theater, the Plopsaland Resort confirms its ambition to become a multi-day family destination on the Belgian coast.
Further development
In 2026, work will continue on the construction of Plopsaland Plaza: the largest expansion and investment in the park's history. The new complex, priced at €25 million, will include a Flying Cinema, where visitors will fly across Europe with Maya the Bee. The complex is scheduled to open in 2027.
“I am proud of what we, together with the entire Plopsa Team, have achieved in 2025. The record results at our park and resort demonstrate that our visitors are increasingly choosing us for a total experience, from attractions to accommodation and entertainment. This gives us great confidence to continue investing ambitiously in the coming years and to continue growing sustainably,” said Carl Lenaerts, CEO of the Plopsa Group.
