Disneyland Paris to open World of Frozen in March 2026

In recent years, Disney has been working on an expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park. After the transformation, the size of this second Disney park has doubled. On March 29th, World of Frozen will open there, and with it, the park's name will change to Disney Adventure World.

The renovated park will feature a promenade, Adventure Way, with an attraction inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Rapunzel, and 14 new dining options. Adventure Bay, a large central lake, will also host evening shows. The World of Frozen expansion will transport guests to the heart of the iconic Frozen films. The Kingdom of Arendelle will be recreated in full scale, and there will be a family attraction, a daytime show, a meet and greet with Anna and Elsa, and other Disney Characters.

"With this step, we continue the most ambitious transformation in our resort's history, pushing the boundaries of storytelling and inviting guests to create their own adventures in the extraordinary worlds of Disney Animation, Pixar, and Marvel. This heralds a new era of deeper storytelling, stronger emotions, and unforgettable moments," said Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris.

The transformation and expansion is spearheaded by Dutchman Michel den Dulk, Vice President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris. Another Dutch touch is the nine decorative plates depicting the Disney Princesses in The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, created in collaboration with Royal Delft, the renowned Dutch pottery and official supplier to the Dutch Royal Family.
