Just two weeks after announcing the opening of a second theme park in China, the Fien & Teun brand is proud to announce its plans for a third theme park in China. The park will be built at Dianshan Lake, a popular tourist destination in Jiangsu Province, just one hour's drive from downtown Shanghai.

During a festive gathering on King's Day, with an official signing ceremony in Kunshan, government representatives from the Netherlands and China, the brand and investors were present at this event. The opening of the park is planned for autumn 2026.
Strategic location
The new park is located in the Yangtze River Delta, right between the cities of Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai. The area attracts millions of tourists every year and is an ideal location for a family-friendly theme park. The Fien & Teun theme park will offer a combination of nature, play and education, fully in line with the brand's philosophy: learning by experiencing. Just like in the Netherlands, visitors will be able to discover farm life through attractions, farm activities, educational shows and encounters with the characters Fien and Teun. The watery landscape of the park is inspired by the Dutch polder landscape. The park is aimed at young families with children between the ages of 2 and 6 and will be a valuable addition to the tourist offer in the region.
Children learn in a playful way where food comes from, get to know farm animals such as Rosa the Cow and Sebastian the Piglet, and discover the importance of nature and sustainability.
Successful expansion
Since the introduction of the first Chinese-language Fien & Teun books in 2022, the brand has been rapidly becoming a fixture in the Chinese family entertainment landscape. TV episodes in Chinese, the first local theatre production in the fall of 2025, and collaborations with retail partners have made the brand widely accessible.
The opening of the first Fien & Teun park in Wenzhou in 2023 proved to be a bull's eye. The new branches in Chengdu and Dianshan Lake also underline the growing need for meaningful and educational entertainment for families with young children.
