The Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris will receive a new name in the future: Disney Adventure World . Disney also announces that the size of the park will roughly double. This Disney Park will feature immersive worlds where guests are taken on adventures inspired by beloved Disney stories.

Disney has two parks in Paris that are operated side by side: Disneyland Park (9.930.000 visitors in 2022) and the smaller Walt Disney Studios Park (5.340.000 visitors in 2019). The latter is now the fourth park in Paris in terms of visitor numbers. Europe. (2: Europa Park and 3. Efteling).

The park will have a completely new visual identity with a fresh creative vision, brand new experiences, and a large-scale expansion. The first major change is the addition of World of Frozen opens, a new immersive area where the wintery world of Walt Disney Animation Studios' Frozen comes to life on an impressive bay.
Layout with immersive theme countries
When Walt Disney Studios Park opened in 2002, the original idea for the second Park was to give guests a behind-the-scenes look at the making of films, cartoons and television shows. The concept of the Park has since undergone a creative evolution to offer immersive worlds. In 2007, an expansion process began with the launch of several large-scale projects, such as The Twilight Zone™ Tower of Terror, Toy Story Playland and Ratatouille: The Adventure. From the recent opening of Marvel Avengers Campus and the launch of Worlds of Pixar to the creation of a themed land inspired by Frozen, the Park continues to welcome beloved franchises. This allows guests to experience their favorite stories in a unique way that only Disney can. And that fun is just the beginning, because worlds where the most popular Disney films of all time come to life become the basis for the transformation of this Disney Park.
“Today we're changing the story of Walt Disney Studios Park, from 'how it's made' to festive theaters and adventures that come to life in immersive worlds. These fully realized adventure worlds will become the focus of the Park's new identity and will return as themed lands that guests will discover as they explore further within the Park and are invited to take part in adventures inspired by the most beloved stories,” said Tom Fitzgerald , Walt Disney Imagineering Chief Storytelling Executive and Senior Creative Executive for Disneyland Paris.
“We are embracing a transformation that is overhauling more than 90% of Walt Disney Studios Park since it opened in 2002. We are unveiling a fresh creative vision that has completely redefined our second entrance. Guests embark on a journey that blends the magic and emotion of our beloved franchises with explorations in faithfully recreated new themed lands. This important evolution has inspired us to give the Park a new name, which heralds a vibrant new chapter for Disneyland Paris. This new name will be officially used from the grand opening of our next theme land: World of Frozen. This will be the harmonious start of an exciting new era. Committed to pushing the boundaries of immersion and innovation, we're creating breathtaking new experiences and spectacular moments at Disney Adventure World that will resonate with our guests more than ever. The Park will offer unique adventures in immersive themed lands, a perfect complement to Disneyland Park,” shared Natacha Rafalski, CEO of Disneyland Paris.
A transformation of the Park entrance
Starting this month, the Park's transformation work will extend to the entrance area to immerse guests in the brand new story as they step into Disney Adventure World. After passing through the entrance gates, guests enter a vibrant, modern open-air film studio, before becoming special guests at a glamorous film premiere in the heart of Hollywood on a starry night. To bring this all-new immersive experience to life, the interior decor of the “soundstage” – which currently depicts a movie scene on Hollywood Boulevard – will be replaced with an artisanal backdrop that pays tribute to historic Hollywood movie theaters and the entertainment industry as a whole. The new entrance building, renamed World Premiere, will reopen in the spring of 2025.

Once outside the building, guests enter the heart of World Premiere Plaza. This area currently celebrates Disney Animation and Pixar stories. After the transformation, theaters will be brought together in a stylish, Art Déco-inspired setting. The Walt Disney Imagineering Paris teams have already started to transform the Park's former central square into a dynamic and warm environment with a design inspired by the famous facades of the Soho and Broadway theaters. The atmosphere is even more vibrant and magical in the evening, with bright lights illuminating the whole experience!

To access the Park's different worlds, guests walk along Adventure Way, a beautiful boardwalk surrounded by lush landscaping and themed gardens – the perfect place for magical daydreams. As guests wander through this enchanting area, they will discover Raiponce Tangled Spin, an all-new family attraction inspired by the beloved Disney Animation film Rapunzel.

It invites guests to 'take a spin' through the iconic floating lantern scene that has touched the hearts of viewers of all ages. Finally, before heading out on new adventures, guests can enjoy delicious cuisine at The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, a stylish table service restaurant with spectacular views of Adventure Bay and Disney Princess encounters.

Outside of the second Park, the entire resort is undergoing significant changes
Broadway is just one step away from Disneyland Paris! The place where magic comes to life offers an exceptional entertainment lineup that will dazzle guests and industry insiders alike. Improved offering in Disney Village and Disney Hotels
Located at the intersection between the Disney theme parks and the Disney Hotels, Disney Village offers its own shopping and dining options. To enhance offerings and exceed guest expectations, the shopping, dining and entertainment precinct is also undergoing a complete new transformation. With this brand new offering, Disney Village is sure to become the ultimate shopping destination for all guests who want to bring a touch of Disney magic into their everyday lives.
In addition, the LEGO Group and Disneyland Paris are working on plans to continue their successful partnership, with a new and improved LEGO Store expected in Disney Village by the end of the year.
