Cruise ships are often at the forefront of innovation in entertainment. This is partly due to their well-funded parent companies and the large number of visitors on board. MSC Cruises has a world first this year: AI-driven robot dogs from Unitree Robotics, which are currently being tested in the entertainment mix on board MSC Bellissima in Asia.

The AI-driven robot dogs are accompanied by humanoid robots. The initiative is initially being tested on MSC Bellissima and will subsequently become available on both MSC Bellissima in Asia and MSC Magnifica during part of the 2026 MSC World Cruise.
Guests can enjoy meet-and-greets with the robots, a robot-themed parade, interactive robot workshops for children ages 7 and up that introduce them to robotics and future technologies in a creative way, and dance performances during the cruise line's Doremix Family Disco.

Even more new entertainment
The entertainment program on other MSC ships will also be given the necessary new impetus for 2026:
- New original MSC Cruises game shows: Guests will have the chance to experience two new original shows in 2026. Chart Toppers is an energetic music competition celebrating the biggest hits from the 70s to the present, while Quiz O'Clock: The Battle offers a competitive game show experience, a revamped version of the cruise line's classic quiz show.
- Expansion of the Professional Coaches program: After a successful pilot program, MSC Cruises' Professional Coaches program, which includes sports, wellness, and craft activities, will expand to 15 ships in 2026. This will give guests even more opportunities to stay active and try new things during their time at sea.
- Extensive collaborations with leading global brands (IP): MSC Cruises will expand its beloved LEGO® Parade to more ships in 2026, from seven to fourteen. The popular parade, featuring seven LEGO® mascots alongside MSC's own mascot Doremi, will be rolled out gradually on MSC Grandiosa, MSC Poesia, MSC Divina, MSC Seaside en MSC Seaview.
- In addition, a new educational entertainment program, Ocean Day by the MSC Foundation, will be introduced on all ships. This program is designed to inspire young guests through interactive learning and play experiences.
