MarinaParken and OMISE Shop announce a new strategic partnership for the development and operation of unmanned park shops at various MarinaParken locations over the next five years. With this collaboration, both parties are taking a significant step toward further improving the convenience and experience for guests at the holiday parks.
The first unmanned OMISE Shop is currently being built at MarinaPark Residentie Bloemendaal and is scheduled to open its doors before Easter weekend.
The unstaffed park shops offer a carefully curated selection that captures the holiday spirit: from daily groceries and fresh produce to breakfast, drinks, and leisure items. Thanks to smart technology such as self-checkouts, electronic shelf labels, and data-driven product selection, the shop is accessible 7 days a week and always tailored to the season, location, and guest type.
“With OMISE Shop, we have found a retail partner that perfectly aligns with our vision: extra convenience & guest experience, future-proof solutions, and without placing an additional burden on our park organizations,” says Jos Angelier of MarinaParken.
“MarinaParken is a strong and growing player within the leisure sector. By joining forces, we create future-proof retail solutions that contribute to a carefree stay for the guest,” says Marco Retel, CEO of OMISE Shop.
As part of this collaboration, OMISE Shop will become MarinaParken's exclusive retail partner. The parties are entering into a five-year agreement and are working towards further rolling out the concept at multiple parks in the Netherlands.
