Plopsaland Deutschland and Plopsaland Ardennes: these are the new names of Holiday Park Germany and Plopsa Coo Ardennes respectively. With these name changes, Plopsa is taking a powerful step in its European growth strategy. By using the name Plopsaland for all its outdoor parks from now on, Plopsa wants to build one strong and recognizable brand across national borders. The launch of a new website this week is part of that same ambition.

One clear and recognisable brand throughout Europe
Plopsa aims to promote its brand more strongly both domestically and internationally, using recognizable names that clearly indicate the parks are part of one large family. Just as the indoor parks fall under the name Plopsa Indoor and the water parks under Plopsaqua , all major outdoor parks are now also grouped under the familiar name Plopsaland . With this strategic choice, Plopsa continues to build a unified brand structure that inspires trust and evokes recognition – in every country where it operates.
“The decision to extend the name Plopsaland to our largest theme parks is a conscious and logical step. With one powerful and recognizable brand name, we increase our visibility, strengthen our positioning abroad and make it easier for visitors to recognize our parks. The launch of our renewed website fits perfectly within that same pursuit of a clear and consistent brand experience.”

New names, new experience: investments in Germany and Wallonia
Coinciding with the renaming of Plopsland Ardennes and Plopsaland Deutschland, substantial investments are being made in both parks. This summer, a brand-new themed area based on Maya the Bee opens in Plopsaland Ardennes , featuring three new family attractions. In Plopsaland Deutschland, work is underway on an ambitious investment plan of over 100 million euros. Following the opening of the Blinky Bill themed area in 2024, this year will see the addition of, among other things, a major indoor experience attraction based on The Smurfs and a family roller coaster in a new themed area based on the Studio 100 film 100% Wolf . Later this year, construction will also begin on a brand-new water park: Plopsaqua Haßloch.
“A strong brand is more important today than ever – especially if you want to grow across borders. By using the name Plopsaland for all our major theme parks from now on, we create clarity, recognisability and trust with our audience. These name changes are not an end point but a beginning, because we believe enormously in our brand. We will continue to invest in the future of our parks and in our European ambitions.”
