Pairi Daiza invested eight times the annual profit in the future.

In 2025, Pairi Daiza invested €118,2 million in the further development of the Park: more than eight times the net profit. The funds are going towards new worlds, accommodations, and infrastructure. As is customary with long-term projects, a portion is financed through loans. In this way, Pairi Daiza creates new experiences for visitors, new jobs, and contracts for hundreds of Walloon and Flemish companies.

Upon the publication of its annual report for the 2025-2026 financial year (1 February 2025 to 31 January 2026), Pairi Daiza announces the results of a record year, 2025:

Pairi Daiza 2025-2026 in figures

  • According to visitor numbers: The most visited tourist attraction in Belgium for over 10 years.
  • 2.866.576 visitors, an increase of 8,1% in one year
  • Revenue of 157,5 million euros, an increase of 13,4% compared to the previous financial year.
  • 118,2 million euros invested, or more than 8 times the net profit
  • 14 million euros net profit
  • 125 million euros in fiscal and parafiscal revenue for the government (study 2024)
  • 3.167 direct and indirect jobs in Belgium
  • 536,8 full-time equivalents
  • Pairi Daiza Foundation supported 75 projects in 2025 thanks to more than 6.700 donors

14 million euros profit, 118 million euros back to the Park

Behind the figures lies a simple conviction that has characterized Pairi Daiza for more than thirty years: the revenue of the Park flows back to the Park.

In 2025, Pairi Daiza recorded a net profit of 14 million euros. At the same time, 118,2 million euros were invested in new worlds, accommodations, and infrastructure. This means that for every euro of profit, more than eight euros went back to the further development of the Park.

That consistent commitment to reinvestment has been the driving force behind Pairi Daiza's growth for decades.

The most important investments of the financial year include:

  • the completion of Edenya, Pairi Daiza's tenth world, a total investment of more than 215 million euros, with an estimated operating cost of 10 million euros per year, accounting for two world records;
  • the continuation of the construction of the future water park, the eleventh world, with the aim of rediscovering the child within us;
  • the renovation of iconic buildings, including the Izba in The Land of The Cold and the Teahouse of The Middle Kingdom;
  • the expansion of the collection of semi-precious stones.

These projects not only enhance the visitor experience. They also put hundreds of companies and thousands of people in Belgium to work: from design and construction to maintenance, operation, and innovation.

Building for the next decades, with the confidence of financial partners

A new world, a resort, or a water park is not built for one season, but for generations of visitors. Therefore, Pairi Daiza finances part of these long-term projects through loans that are repaid year after year.

On December 31, 2025, total liabilities amounted to €579,7 million, compared to €498,4 million a year earlier. Financial debts with a maturity of more than one year increased by €62,9 million to €259,3 million. This increase is directly related to ongoing construction projects.

The short-term financial debts amounted to €104,9 million, of which €37,5 million must be repaid in the coming twelve months. They are part of an investment program intended to further grow Pairi Daiza and continue to amaze visitors for decades to come.

“We could have been satisfied with what had already been achieved, but we chose to build on it. Pairi Daiza translates its results into new worlds, better infrastructure, jobs, and nature conservation. That has been our choice for over thirty years: what grows here must create value anew for visitors, employees, and society.” Eric Domb, Chairman and Founder, Pairi Daiza

What Pairi Daiza means for Belgium

The economic and social contribution of Pairi Daiza can primarily be measured concretely as job creation. In 2025, the Garden reached a new record with 536,8 full-time equivalents, a figure that has continuously increased over the course of its development.

That growth reflects the Park's continued investment in the quality of the visitor and resort experience, the promotion of the destination, the maintenance of 80 hectares full of wonder, and the well-being of the employees.

Pairi Daiza thus also confirms its role as an important local employer. Employment in the Park is strongly rooted regionally, accessible to diverse profiles in the labor market, and cannot be relocated.

The economic impact extends far beyond Hainaut, with suppliers, contractors, and partners throughout Belgium, including Flanders. According to the most recent available independent study, conducted by EKLO, SEGEFA-ULiège, and HEC Consulting Group regarding the year 2024, Pairi Daiza generated approximately €145 million in economic spin-off and €125 million in tax and parafiscal revenue, and supported 3.167 direct and indirect jobs in Wallonia and Flanders. However, 2025 was an even stronger year in all respects, regarding both visitor numbers and revenue: these figures therefore represent a minimum, not a maximum.

The ratio speaks for itself: against a net profit of 14 million euros, there is at least 125 million euros in tax and parafiscal revenue for the community and more than 3.000 direct and indirect jobs in Belgium. Thus, the impact of Pairi Daiza extends far beyond its own result.

The most visited tourist attraction in Belgium

In 2025, Pairi Daiza welcomed 2.866.576 visitors, an increase of 8,1% compared to the previous year. With this, the Park confirms its position as the most visited tourist attraction in Belgium.

Revenue increased by 13,4% to 157,5 million euros. This growth is driven by loyal Belgian visitors and an increasing number of international guests. Their visits contribute directly to Pairi Daiza's investment capacity: ticket after ticket and stay after stay, they enable the further development of the Park.

From heritage site to top destination

Pairi Daiza, founded more than thirty years ago on the ruins of a 12th-century Cistercian abbey, has been built stone by stone, world by world, out of love: we best protect what we love, and we love only what amazes us.
