Plopsaland De Panne is expanding the Wickieland theme area with a brand new family attraction: Wickie's Wervelwind. This 12-metre-high Top Spin Coaster offers visitors of all ages a unique and adventurous experience. The attraction, worth an investment of 1,5 million euros, will open in the summer of 2025 and is a wonderful addition to the festive year in which Plopsaland De Panne celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Wickie's Wervelwind will be located in Wickieland, an outdoor zone around Studio 100 character Wickie the Viking that opened in 2013. The new attraction, built by German supplier ART Engineering, is strategically located at the exclusive passage to Plopsaland Village, so that guests of this brand new accommodation will be immediately immersed in the world of Wickie the Viking as soon as they enter Plopsaland.

The arrival of the new attraction is one of the many highlights in the anniversary year of Plopsaland De Panne. The anniversary year will be celebrated from 6 April 2025 with the '25 Celebration Parade', the absolute eye-catcher of the season. The 25 Celebration Parade will be a large-scale parade with eight beautifully themed floats that will travel through the park.
