BillyBird Drakenrijk , in Beesel, North Limburg , is opening the doors of its new indoor playground, Drakendorp. With over 2.200 m² of indoor play fun, Drakendorp is a spectacular addition to the park and a year-round attraction for families with children. Advance ticket sales for BillyBird Drakenrijk have now started. The new indoor playground will be open to the public from January 17.
Burning village as a unique eye-catcher
The absolute highlight of Dragon Village is a burning village, set ablaze by a huge dragon. Children and parents can extinguish the fire together with real water, creating a unique, interactive experience that combines teamwork and play.
Ball pit with video projection
Besides the eye-catching attraction, Drakendorp offers a wide range of play equipment. For example, visitors can enjoy: a mega-high family slide, a ball pit with video projection, building with XXL blocks, the trigger track – race against each other, the popular spider tower with slide, a large knight's cage on the second floor where you have a view of the entire Drakendorp. Visitors enter the play area through an impressive medieval gate.
Comfort for parents
Parents can enjoy a snack and a drink on a spacious indoor terrace while keeping an eye on the children playing. Weather permitting, the outdoor terrace is also open, offering views of the outdoor playground, swimming lake, and play castle.
Special attention for the little ones
In addition, a special play area will be created for children aged 0 to 3. This toddler area is screened off and surrounded by tables, so parents can keep a comfortable and safe eye on their young children.
Open all year round
BillyBird Drakenrijk will reopen on January 17th and be open year-round. Visitors are welcome daily from 10:00 AM to 18:00 PM. BillyBird members can visit without a reservation, and guests can purchase discounted tickets online. Tickets start at just €6,95. With the opening of Dragon Village, BillyBird Drakenrijk consolidates its position as a complete day out for the whole family, regardless of the weather.
