Vacansoleil is back. After the bankruptcy in 2023, the company, which had 55 years of experience, was taken over by the Pierre & Vacances – Center Parcs Group. This year, the holiday expert is back with a renewed range of more than 1000 campsites throughout Europe. Bookings for the upcoming summer season are open and Vacansoleil will be present at the Vakantiebeurs for the first time since the takeover, where travellers can find plenty of inspiration for their next holiday.
The new Vacansoleil
Dutch Vacansoleil has been taken over by the Pierre & Vacances – Center Parcs Group since 2023, the European market leader in the field of holidays close to home. As a member of the Pierre et Vacances-Center Parcs group, Vacansoleil is the largest provider of camping holidays in Europe, with offers in 17 countries throughout Europe.
Since the takeover, Vacansoleil has been working hard to rebuild step by step. This is largely done from the new office in Westerhoven, where former employees of the former Vacansoleil also work. For example, there is a renewed range of more than 1000 campsites, enriched with locations provided with an eco-label. In addition, a new, improved website has been launched that is available in 13 languages.
Vacansoleil is also offering new services such as free cancellation up to one day before departure with Flexi+ and cashback discounts. With this, 10% of the total amount is refunded to the traveler's Vacansoleil account for every reservation, which they can use as free travel credit for a subsequent booking. From 9 to 12 January, Vacansoleil will be present at the Vakantiebeurs in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. At stand 07.A050, visitors can get acquainted with the renewed range of Vacansoleil, with wonderful campsites in top destinations such as Croatia, France, Italy and Spain. From popular top campsites with water parks to quiet campsites in unique natural locations, spread throughout Europe.
