The Recreation Next Level Awards 2024 have been presented, and this year holiday parks from Overijssel have claimed the leading role. During the prestigious Recreation Next Level event in Gorinchem, the awards were awarded to the holiday parks Holiday Park Beerze Bulten, Holiday Park Mölke in Zuna and Camping De Kleine Wolf. This recognition once again underlines the innovative power of the recreation sector in general, but certainly also in the province of Overijssel.
The Recreatie Next Level Awards are seen as an encouragement award and recognition from the industry itself, with Richard Otten (known, among other things, for the podcast on tourism, recreation, and leisure) as the initiator of the award show. The awards shine a spotlight on holiday parks that distinguish themselves in the fields of digitalization, online marketing, and recreation technology. The jury, chaired by Richard Otten, also included Roy Platje ( Red Online ), Rudolf van de Velde (Wildkamp), and Wesley Dubbink (WeMa Mobile). The awards were presented on the second day of the new Recreatie trade fair Next Level, the new two-day knowledge and networking event for ambitious recreation entrepreneurs at the Evenementenhal Gorinchem. Recreatie Next Level is part of the annual Recreatie Vakbeurs. The first edition focused on the segments Digitalization and Marketing, Recreation Technology, and Services.
Digitization Award for Beerze Bulten
The coveted Digitalization Award went to Beerze Bulten in Beerze. The holiday park has long been a frontrunner in the field of digitalization, with a versatile app that offers a wide range of features for guests. Nick Hallink, who accepted the award on behalf of Beerze Bulten, emphasized: “This recognition highlights Beerze Bulten’s pursuit of innovation and progress in digital processes without losing sight of the human aspect. In early January, Beerze Bulten already received an international nomination from the ADAC in the 'Online Booking' category. This Next Level Award recognizes holiday parks that excel in implementing modern technologies and optimizing the digital experience for their guests.”

Marketing Award for Mölke
Holiday park Mölke in Zuna was awarded the Marketing Award. Mölke emphasizes 'slow living on the Regge', encouraging guests to embrace a relaxed lifestyle. Rutger van der Maat, representative of Mölke, said: “Slow living contributes to a better quality of life, and we try to give our guests this attitude to life. This award motivates us to continue with this.”

Recreational Technology Award for De Kleine Wolf
The prestigious Recreational Technology Award went to De Kleine Wolf campsite in Stegeren. In collaboration with Reimink, the park developed a unique water filter system for their new swimming pool, which uses significantly less chemicals, energy and water. Peter Kamphuis of De Kleine Wolf proudly stated: “We took up the challenge and managed to create a unique and groundbreaking system.” The park also has ambitious plans to introduce two new innovations every year.
